Paul Ray Harrison

Paul Ray Harrison, 79, of Hickman, Ky., passed away 8:19 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Billy Crowell officiated. Burial followed in Cayce (Ky.) Methodist Church Cemetery.
Visitation was held at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Pallbearers were Tyler Harrison, Michael Ethridge, Rubin Molands, Donnie Evans, Royce Babbs and Donnie Harrison.
Paul was born Sept. 5, 1944, in Hickman, son of the late R.B. and Lela Margaret (Butler) Harrison. He married Brenda (Davis) Harrison Dec. 23, 1962.
Paul was a retired janitor and bus driver for the Fulton County (Ky.) School System. He enjoyed collecting and working on clocks.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Brenda Harrison of Hickman; one son, Ray Lynn Harrison of Hickman; one grandson, Tyler Harrison and wife, Hayley, of Paducah, Ky.; one stepgrandson, Craig Thompson and wife, Ehmy, of Union City; six great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley Stephens of Union City and Earlene Frost and husband, Charles, of Fulton, Ky.
He was also preceded in death by one son, David Lee Harrison; one granddaughter, Francis Harrison; and three sisters, Ann Ethridge, Ruth Babbs and Glenda Carlton.
