Eddie Sue Nemec

Eddie Sue Nemec (nee Glover), lovingly referred to as Sue, age 87, of South Fulton peacefully passed away on July 17, 2024, in Chesapeake, Va., with her family by her side. She was born in Newbern on June 10, 1937, at home to the late Edgar J. Glover and Nora Hazel Glover (nee Watson).
She relocated to Chicago to live with her brother, Carl, and his family. While in Chicago she met the love of her life, Otto W. Nemec, through her co-worker and friend, Felicia, who later became her sister-in-law. Otto and Sue were married in 1960 in a simple service. Sue and Otto raised their three loving children in Chicago before they retired back to Sue’s home state Tennessee in 1994, living the best years of their life as members of the local Senior Center.
Sue is survived by her husband of 64 years, Otto W. Nemec Sr. Also surviving are her children, Linda Baggett, (Johnnie), Otto Nemec Jr. (Constance) and Judy Brown (Wayne); her grandchildren, Jennifer Clark (Thomas), Brian Baggett (Nicole), Keith Baggett (Sarah), Kevin Baggett, Amanda Walz (Andrew), Timothy Nemec and Ashley Nemec; great-grandchildren, Tyler Baggett (Kelly), Seth Clark, Lexi Clark, Mikaela Taylor (Cameron), Savana Tripp, Raeleigh Baggett, Gage Baggett, Charli-Jo Baggett, Ayden Walker, Kyra Baggett, Gracelyn Baggett, Kade Baggett and Preston Walz; great-great-grandchild, Tyler Baggett Jr.; her brother, Johnny Glover (Dora); and many nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Lynn Glover; and both of her parents, as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Celebration of life services will be at a later date.
