Brenda Ray
Brenda Fay Ray, age 77, of Union City passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Graveside services were held in Tansil Cemetery in Sharon on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 2 p.m., with Bro. Gordon Wilbanks officiating.
White-Ranson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Stacy, Matt and Tanner Owensby, Luke Hazelwood, Harlan Bennett and Kenneth Sisk.
Mrs. Brenda was born in Martin on May 3, 1947, to the late James Prince and the late Lillian Erwin Prince. She married Mr. Aaron Ray on Sept. 23, 2012.
Mrs. Brenda and her sister, Anita Hutchison, owned and operated Guys and Dolls Hairstyling for 40 years on First Street in Union City.
She is survived by her husband, Aaron Ray; her daughter, Tammy Owensby and her husband, Stacy, of Martin; and her three grandchildren, Matt Owensby of Statesboro, Ga., Amber Hazelwood and her husband, Luke, of Martin and Tanner Owensby and his wife, Teddy, of Martin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Hopper; and two sisters, Sheila Prince and Anita Hutchison.
