James Madewell
James Edward Madewell, 78, a resident of Union City, died May 16, 2024, at the Waters in Union City.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of cremation services.
Mr. Madewell was born on Dec. 2, 1945, in Buffalo Valley to the late Douglas Fate and Christine (Maynard) Madewell. He worked as a metal roofer for several years. He was a Baptist by faith.
Mr. Madewell is survived by a daughter, Dena Lewis and husband, Chris, of Union City; granddaughters, Emily Crosser of Troy and Robin Sanders and husband, Troy, of Union City; great-grandsons, Leo and Liam Sanders, both of Union City; one brother; and two sisters.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and great-granddaughter, Layla Sanders.
