Norma Mobbs

Norma Mobbs, 90, a resident of Union City, died May 2, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Memorial services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Rev. Justin Hiens officiated.
The family received friends from 12:30-2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Mobbs was born on Nov. 20, 1933, in Union City to the late Herman and Almeda (Thomas) Lee. On Sept. 6, 1953, she married James Mobbs. He survives. 
She worked as a Head Bookkeeper for the Former Old & Third Bank from the age of 19 until she retired after 43 years. She was a member of Troy Methodist Church. She was very active in the Senior Citizen Center, Silver Sneakers, working in her yard, and quilting.

She is also survived by a son, Mike Mobbs and wife, Camille, of Union City; two grandsons, Brent Mobbs and wife, Mitzi, of Union City and Adam Mobbs and wife, Shara, of the Clayton Community; great-granddaughters, Gracie, Emma and Leah Mobbs; great-grandsons, Jeremiah and Grant Mobbs; and a sister, Alice Lee Seals of Arlington, Tenn.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Ed, and Charlie Lee; and three sisters, Myrtle Lee Calhoun, Mary Lee Pinion and Opal Lee.
