TALES OF THE BALL — Stepmother (Jodi Powell, from left) is not amused as her daughters, Portia (Abbi Jo Powell) and Joy (Myranda Parr), get caught up in the story being told by her stepdaughter, Cinderella (Gabriel Rogers), about how she assumed the ball given by the prince would have happened, not knowing that she was recalling the actual occurrences of the night. The four will take on their roles in Masquerade Theatre’s production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” this weekend at 7 p.m. Friday; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday; and 2 p.m. Sunday at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Union City as part of the Fol De Rol cast. A second set of actors, the Fiddle Dee Dee cast with Addison Kitchen as Cinderella, performs at 7 p.m. March 15; 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. March 16; and 2 p.m. March 17. Tickets, which are $15 each, may be purchased at the Obion County Public Library and online at https://ticketpeak.co/ucmasqueradetheatre/events. Online ticket sales will have an additional processing fee added to the cost. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door 30 minutes before showtime.
