LACK OF RAIN — Colby McBride recently sprayed soybeans on farmland owned by Ricky Seals in Obion County. Despite there being 45 days with no rainfall recorded at the A.L. Strub Wastewater Plant in Union City since May 1, the rain which has fallen came at the appropriate time, according to Obion County University of Tennessee Extension agent and county director Bob Shumake.
