John Stacy Hanks

John Stacy Hanks, age 48, of Union City passed away from this life on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett.
Graveside services for Mr. Hanks were conducted on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. at Rutherford Cemetery, with Bro. Mickey Hanks officiating. Interment followed immediately after.
He was born Nov. 7, 1974, in Union City, son of Mickey and Marjorie (Campbell) Hanks. He retired as a technician with Herman Jenkins and was a member of First Baptist Church in Maury City.
John is survived by his parents, Mickey and Marjorie Hanks; two children, Blaine Hanks and Kaylie Hanks; and two brothers, Jackie Hanks (Jan) and Jeff Hanks.
Pallbearers were Jack Hanks, Jeff Hanks, Michael Ware, Randy Cochrum, Wendell Dukes, Billy Wallace and Jonathan Hanks, along with honorary pallbearer Lisa Dukes.
The family received friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at the Kenton chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home.
