Frances Blackley

Frances Mae Blackley, age 67 of Martin died January 2, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services will be at 1 PM on Friday, January 6 at the Calvary Independent Baptist Church. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday, January 5, from 6 until 9 PM Bro. Carl Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in the East Side Cemetery in Martin. Pallbearers will be Nathan Gillmore, Donnie Wilcox, Steven Lee Garner, Curtis Dean, Marcus Bradwell and Daniel Mark Morgan. Ms. Blackley was born June 29, 1955 in Tiptonville, the daughter of the late Harry and Frances Laverne Dean Parson. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She is survived by a son Daniel Southerland of Martin, a daughter Patricia Southerland of Martin, four brothers Ricky Parson of Greenfield, Joe Parson, Roger Parson and Johnny Parson all of Tiptonville and a sister Martha Woods of Big Sandy, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters and 2 grandchildren.
