Karen Lifsey

Mrs. Karen Hampton Lifsey, 72, of Huntingdon, passed away Friday Nov. 25, 2022, at her home. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Obion Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Noah Hampton officiating. Mrs. Lifsey was born May 10, 1950 to the late Clifford Lee Hampton and Juanita Smothers Hampton. She was a retired rural carrier for the United States Postal Services and was a member of the Huntingdon First Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Mike (Amanda) Lifsey of McKenzie and John (Christie) Lifsey of Martin; five grandchildren, Bailey Lifsey, Brayden Lifsey, Kyle Lifsey, Karson Lifsey and Emma Lifsey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “Rusty” Lifsey; one brother, Howard Lee Hampton; and one niece, Erica Hampton.
