Sylvia McKinney

Sylvia McKinney, 72, of Franklin passed away 7:10 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. She was a former resident of Obion County.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Pelia Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral from noon until the hour of services Friday.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Sylvia was born April 14, 1950, in Union City, daughter of the late Spencer and Mary Frances (Damron) Duncan. She worked in quality control at the former Sharon Manufacturing and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Michael McKinney (Rachael) of Union City; her daughter, Tracey McKinney of Hermitage; six grandchildren, Briley Kate McKinney, Destiny Johnson, Serenity Scott, Makayla Scott, Dalayla Scott and Savian Scott; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Kay Duncan and Sarah Moore; and her brother, John Duncan.
