COMMUNITY FEED

COMMUNITY FEED — Tyson Foods hosted its annual Community Feed event Friday at the Obion County Farmers Market Pavilion following trick-or-treating activities in downtown Union City. Within 15 minutes of the posted distribution time of 5 p.m., more than 1,300 meals of a chicken, chips, cookies and water had been distributed. Among those assisting in the effort were Tyson representatives (from left) Ashley Callahan of Rives, Shelby Morphis of South Fulton and Jared Lynch of Mayfield, Ky. When all the meals were gone, Ms. Callahan then walked the line to give candy to the children. This event is part of Tyson Foods’ continued commitment to providing local families with nutritious, quality food and serving communities where its team members live, work and play, a Tyson official said.
