Bettie Wall

Bettie Posey Wall of Holt, Mich., passed away Oct. 3, 2022, at the age of 91.
She was born in Union City Nov. 4, 1930, to parents Clarence “Monk” Posey and Rachel Gaskin Posey.
She graduated from Union City High School with the class of 1948. She met and married Thomas John Wall of the Dixie community and later moved to Michigan to make it their forever home.
Bettie and T.J. were blessed with seven children, Vickie Miske, Pam Gradney, Barry (Mary) Wall, Tom (Velvet) Wall, Betty (Keith) Bonney, David Wall and Rob Wall; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Bobbye (Roy) Cates of Martin; and by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Martha (Ted) Robbins.
Bettie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. They were her greatest treasure. She also loved nature, the heavens and her furry friends. She will be greatly missed by all who returned her love.
A memorial service was held Oct. 11 at her church, Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Lansing, Mich.
