Harold Morris

James Harold Morris, 85, of the Harris Station community passed away 6:05 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Huntingdon.
Graveside services were to be conducted 11 a.m. today at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Jo Nell Cryer-Copeland and Brother Walt Asher were to officiate.
Visitation was held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. today.
Pallbearers were to be Tyler Morris, Devin Scott, John Rimmer, Kyle Lutz and Dustin Wherry.
Harold was born Aug. 2, 1937, in Trimble, son of the late Homer and Frances Rebecca (Bone) Morris. He married Joyce (Faulkner) Morris Dec. 13, 1963. Harold served in the United States Army during the Korean War and served in the 913th Tennessee National Guard in Union City. He had been employed at the former Sta Rite and the former Gurien Finishing Company, both in Union City, and was a member of Harris United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Morris of the Harris Station community; four daughters, Margie McMillin (Jeff) of Martin, Deana Lee (fiance Richie Barrett) of Kenton, Debbie MacDonald of Counce and Lisa Morris Cathey of South Fulton; one son, Edward Morris (Amy) of Union City; two sisters, Rita Reams (Edward) of South Fulton and Freida Luker of South Fulton; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Polhamus and Paula Galloway; and three brothers, Woody Morris, Ray Morris and Wayne Morris.
