Bertha Henry

Mrs. Bertha Louise Henry, age 81, of Martin passed away Friday, July 8, 2022, at Quince Nursing Home in Memphis. Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home in Union City with her granddaughter, Hallie Burke, officiating. Burial followed in Obion County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were family members.  Bertha was born June 8, 1941, in Bradford, daughter of the late David Henry and Helen Louise Clark Jones. She married Cloyce William Henry on Dec. 1, 1957. He passed away March 22, 2022. She loved to travel and was an avid bridge player. She worked as a medical assistant in doctor clinics. She is survived by two granddaughters, Hallie Henry Burke (Phillip) of Hernando, Mississippi and Lauren Ashley Henry of Little Rock, Arkansas; two great-grandchildren, Jason and Jamerson Burke of Hernando, Mississippi; her daughter-in-law, Cindy Hampton of Olive Branch, Mississippi; and two brothers, Charles Jones (Joyce) of Martin and Sammie Jones (Pat) of Dresden. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jackie Glen Henry; and her brother, Carnell Jones.
