Larry Harper

Larry Raymond Harper, age 73,was born April, 2, 1949 in Martin to Barry Harper and Edna White and raised by Edna and Earl White, died June 2, 2022. A military memorial service will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the American Legion Post 55 in Martin. He served in Vietnam in 1969 in the Army Airborne division. Harper worked as self-employed carpenter and electrician in the Weakley County area throughout his life. Harper married Angie Harper in 2001 and she survives. He is also survived by a son, Dewayne Harper of Martin; three stepsons, Robert King of South Alabama, James Cherry and Clayton Cherry. He had six grandchildren, Aliegh, Cassidy, Abreigh, Mason, Caliegh and Gabriella Harper, all of South Fulton as well as eight step grandchildren.
