Laura McDaniel

Laura Frances McDaniel, 88, of the Dixie community passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at her home.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, in Terrace Hill Cemetery, with Brother James Robert Gunter officiating.
White-Ran-son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McDaniel was born on Sept. 23, 1933, to the late John Brown “Pie” and Trowlen (Lovelace) Buchanan. She married Mr. Wit McDaniel, who passed away Aug. 8, 2017. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. McDaniel is survived by her daughter, Susan Alexander and her husband, Dale, of the Protemus community; her son, Kelly McDaniel and his wife, Rachel, of Dyersburg; seven grandchildren, David Alexander and his wife, Kristen, and Annie Pitts and her husband, Harris, all of the Protemus community, and Andy, Emily, Matthew, Hannah and Katie McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Tatum and Rosie Alexander and Molly and Mary Pitts, all of the Protemus community; and one sister, Betty Weaver of Memphis.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Tommy, Bill and Leroy Buchanan.
