Ramona Pruett

Ramona Pruett, 83, of Union City passed away Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Funeral services were to be 2 p.m. today at White-Ran-son Funeral Home. Burial was to follow in Cobb’s Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation was held Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers were to be Kent Martin, Kevin Whipple, David Morehead, Jim Boyd, Tim Runions and Timmy Adams. Larry Parks, Jerry Rumley and Tom Long were to serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mrs. Pruett was born March 25, 1938, to the late Ilar Nixon and Correne Kirk Touchstone. She married Gene Pruett on June 28, 1989. He passed away on Feb. 26, 2006.
Mrs. Pruett is survived by her daughter, Kathy Farmer of Union City; her son, Danny Quinn and his wife, Tammy, of Troy; four grandchildren, Chase Quinn and his wife, Kelsey, Cody Quinn and his wife, Shelby, and Olivia Batts, all of Troy, and Justin Norton and his wife, Amanda, of Hornbeak; five great-grandchildren, Austin and Ali Norton and Bryer, Oliver and Lowen Quinn; her sister, Linda Breeden of Union City; two stepgrandchildren, Dana Hommond and Deven McBride; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Pruett was preceded in death by one son, Terry Quinn.
