Billy Cathey

Mr. William “Billy” Cathey, age 63, of South Fulton passed away Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at AHC Healthcare in Union City.
He was born on Aug. 4, 1958, in Fulton to the late Charles H. “Herb” and Diana Swearingen Cathey.
Billy was a member of Anchor Church in Union City and lived in this area all of his life.
Hornbeak Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by a son, Jason (Tiffany) Cathey of South Fulton; three grandchildren, Ariana, Mia and Alyssa Cathey, all of Mar-tin; and two sisters, Teresa (Earl) Mulcahy and Diana Cathey Cook, both of South Fulton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charles D. Cathey.
Memorial graveside services were to be held at 11 a.m. today, Dec. 14, 2021, at Obion County Memorial Gardens.
There was no visitation. Friends were asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour service.
