Buddy Jose

Mr. Louis T. “Buddy” Jose Jr. , 82, of Union City passed away 1:58 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Private graveside services will be held at East View Cemetery.
A celebration of life and mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Union City with a date and time to be announced.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Louis was born Nov. 30, 1938, in Bobo, Miss., son of the late Louis Tony Jose Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Mandolini) Jose. He married Margaret Ann (Pickel) Jose April 7, 1961.
He retired from both Goodyear and the 913th National Guard Engineering Co. in Union City, with 30 years service to both. He was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church, where he was a 4th degree Knight and former Grand Knight.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Valorie Yates (Neil) of Bradford and Theresa Bumpus of Troy; one son, Tony Jose (Kim) of Lee’s Summit, Mo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Jose and John Jose.
