Ruth Mansfield

Ms. Margie Ruth Mansfield, 90, of Union City passed away 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, at AHC Dyersburg.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Ruth was born Oct. 2, 1930, in St. Louis, Mo., daughter of the late Wesley and Bea (Watson) Shelton. She drove a school bus for the Fulton County School District for many years and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Pam Woods (Luke) of Union City; five grandchildren, Chad Piatt (Elaine) of Martin, Clint Piatt of Chattanooga, Courtney Blackwell (Jeremy) of Union City, Eric Mansfield (Kaylee) of Springhill and Colt Mansfield (Ashley) of Springhill; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one sister, Judy McCoy (David) of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Mansfield; three brothers, Neil Shelton, Jerry Shelton and Bobby Shelton; and her sister, Selene Shelton.
