Benjamin O’Guinn

Benjamin “Ben” Gregory O’Guinn, age 19, of Martin died Saturday, August 7, 2021. Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m.. at Central Baptist Church in Martin with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating. Burial will follow in Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery at 10 a.m. on Monday, in Sikeston, Missouri. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.. at the church until funeral time with Murphy Funeral Home of Martin in charge of the arrangements. Ben is survived by his parents, Ashley and Russ Pruiett of Martin; his father, Blake Hopper of Nashville; his sister, Emma Pruiett of Martin; grandparents, Jolene O’Guinn, and Martha and Lloyd Pruiett; great-grandmother, Glenna Merrell, all of Sikeston. Ben was a student at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mike and Peggy Hopper, Gregory O’Guinn.
