Howard Green

Howard Dale “Buck” Green, age 98, of Paris, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 at Henry County Healthcare Center. His body is to be cremated and a private family burial will take place at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora, Illinois. Green was born May 4, 1923 in Iola, Illinois to the late Silas and Gertrude Krutsinger Green. He attended Iola High School in Iola, Illinois. He was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran, holding the rank of Seaman First Class. He attended Como Church of Christ. He married Dolores Gail Rodgers Green on March 15, 1946 and she preceded him in death January 31, 2010.  Howard is survived by his daughters, Deborah (Roger) Kransi, both of Paris and Robin Green of Romulus, Michigan; grandchildren, Edward Ignagni, Chad Ignagni, Dylan Wilkins, Dale DeCrocker, Casey DeCrocker, Evan DeCrocker and Carly DeCrocker; great-grandchildren, Victoria Ignagni, Trinity Ignagni and Archer Wilkins; nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members. Besides his parents and wife, Howard is preceded in death by several sisters and two brothers, one of which preceded in infancy.
