Nellie Lee Wilkerson

Nellie Lee Wilkerson, 84, of Union City died Monday, Feb. 1, 2021.
She was the wife of the late James “Baker” Wilkerson and the daughter of the late Paul and Mattie Bramlett Hamblen.
She is survived by one sister, Elnora Cochrum of Union City; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wilkerson was born July 15, 1936. She was a long-time resident of Obion County, where she attended Dixie High School and was a standout basketball player receiving all-state honors.
Along with her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Stephen Wilkerson; a stepson, Jimmy Wilkerson; four brothers, Paul Hamblen Jr., James Wilford Hamblen, Jerry Dale Hamblen and Robert L. Hamblen; and two sisters, Catherine Coleman and Mary Helen Williams.
A graveside service for Mrs. Wilkerson will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at Hickman City Cemetery. Bro. Russell Zik will officiate.
