Helen Johnson

Helen J. Harris Pilla Johnson, 88 of Martin, Tennessee passed away November 25, 2020 at Henry County Hospital.  Helen was loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and homemaker.  Helen loved to prepare meals for her family, she loved to sew and read, and she was an avid gardener.  Helen was a member of the Church of Christ in Martin, TN.  Helen will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  Helen was born September 19, 1932 in Hohenwald, TN.  She was the daughter of the late John Curtis and Lizzie Turnbow Harris.  She was survived by one daughter, Cindy (Bill) Wyatt of Plains, Montana, and two sons, Sam Pilla of Martin and Floyd (Kathy) Pilla of Dresden; four grandchildren, Natalie Wallace’s of Milan, Kody Crittendon of Alberton, MT, Jake Pilla of Gleason, Alyssa Jock of Martin, and five great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters.  There will be a graveside service on December 2, 2020 at Skelton Cemetery in Hohenwald, TN.
