He was born on Sept. 9, 1932, in Hickman, Ky., to the late Jim and Cora (Couch) Hepler.
He retired as a farmer and was a greeter at Walmart in Union City for 17 years. On Nov. 21, 1950, he married Patricia Corum. She survives.
He was a member of First Church of God Church on Miles Avenue in Union City.
If you knew him at all, he was never shy about telling you about the Lord. He may have even shared a bible verse with you as he greeted you through the doors of Walmart. May we all strive to be that way.
He loved his wife of 70 years and his family. Today he is rejoicing in the presence of his Savior. We have no doubt, he’s singing in Heaven this morning. Singing was one of his favorite things to do.
The family requests memorials be sent to: First Church of God: 415 Miles Ave., Union City, TN 38261.
