Patsy Dale Guy
Ms. Patsy Dale Guy, 69, of Troy left her earthly home to join her Lord and Family in Heaven on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020. She entered her Heavenly home with her favorite song “Jesus Loves Me” being sung by a Heavenly choir.
Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Saturday at Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy, with Ron Newberry officiating.
Pete Matheny, Alfred Stribling, Bryce Moran, Ethan Huffines, Mardy Bell and Jody Knox served as pallbearers.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis or the charity of the donor’s choice.
White-Ranson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was born April 12, 1951, in Union City, daughter of the late John Dale and Bunice (Ashworth) Guy. She attended Troy Elementary School and East Side Elementary School special education class in Union City, where she received a certificate of completion.
She was a member of the former Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Troy. She also attended Protemus Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School.
She is loved and survived by her sister, Doris Guy Storey of Troy; two brothers and their spouses, Charlie and Dawn Guy and Johnny and Carnece Guy, all of Troy; four nieces; five great-nieces; and three great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sammie Lou Guy; and her brother-in-law, Randall Storey.
She loved everyone and she was known for always giving hugs.
