Mary Rawdon

Mrs. Mary Evelyn Rawdon, 97, of Obion died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020, at AHC-Union City.
She was born Feb. 8, 1923, in Obion, the daughter of the late Elmer and Flora (Terry) Austin. She was a homemaker and a member of Obion First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Cecelia Callis of Topeka, Kan.; a son, Wayne Rawdon of Martin; a daughter-in-law, Judy Rawdon; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Rawdon in 2007; two sons, Bentley Rawdon and Ronal Rawdon; two brothers, William Ivy Austin and John E. Austin; and two sisters, Reggie Sanford and Myrtle Allen.
Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Saturday in Rosehill Cemetery in Obion. The Rev. Terry English officiated.
Pallbearers were Shawn Rawdon, Jeff Rawdon, Corey Rawdon, Noah Jeppson, Randy Evans and Alan Jordan.
Cryer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
