Mary Weeks

Ms. Mary Helen Weeks, age 73, of Bradford and Martin, passed away Friday Aug. 28, 2020, at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. today (Tuesday) at Hunt Funeral Home Chapel in Bradford, with Dr. Mike Sams officiating. Burial followed at Shiloh Cemetery. Mary Helen was born on Oct. 8, 1946 to the late Edward Green and Annie Laura Baker Chessor. She attended Bradford School, worked at Jer-E-Lane Restaurant for several years, the Hearth Restaurant in Martin for years and retired from the Weakley County Animal Clinic in Martin. She is survived by a daughter, Faith Bailey (Mike) Thweatt of Martin; stepdaughter, Donna Lybrooke of Martin; granddaughter, Europe (Bill) Simmons of Nashville; and step granddaughter, Jordon Lybrooke of Martin. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Ray Bailey; sister, Margaret Young; and husband, David Weeks.
