Doyle Thomas

Robert Doyle Thomas, 72, of Union City died Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis.
Graveside services were to be held 1 p.m. today in Lynnville Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Lynnville, Ky., with the Rev. Charles Southerland officiating.
Pallbearers were to be Paul Nolan, C.J. Harrison, Zac Kelly, Ricky Kincade, Billy Butler and Dustin Paperski.
The family were to receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
He was born on Sept. 27, 1947 in Lake County, son of the late Robert and Ruby (Dial) Thomas. He married the former Charlotte Adkins on June 16, 2012.  She died April 8, 2017.
He was a retired truck driver for Dar Pro, formerly known as Griffin Industries, and was a member of Sassafras Ridge Baptist Church in Hickman, Ky.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Brittany Speed of Union City and Christy (Brandon) Readenour of Murray, Ky.; a son, Chad Gamble of Union City; eight grandchildren, including Kaleigh Powers and Trey Powers; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Williams of Hickman and Doris Caldwell of Atwood; a brother, Donny Thomas of Greenville, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
