HAPPY HUNTING

HAPPY HUNTING — Lake Road Elementary School teachers (from left) Jason Pate, Dana Craddock, Antoinette Waites, joined by daughter Emma, and Ashley Edmiston were full of school spirit Friday evening as they manned their position during a faculty/staff scavenger hunt for students. Over 200 students and parents followed social distancing guidelines and stayed in their vehicles to participate in the 10-station hunt around the community. The hunt kicked off with a clue posted on the school’s Facebook page, which led students to start their search at the site of the former Old West Steakhouse on West Reelfoot Avenue in Union City. The event ended at Lake Road School, where each student received a balloon and put their name into a drawing for donated prizes.
