TO REOPEN — Discovery Park of America, which has been closed since March 17 due to the coronavirus pandemic, has announced plans to begin reopening the facility. While the park will remain closed through the end of May, members will be allowed to utilize the grounds May 30 and May 31 following strict social distancing guidelines. The 50-acre heritage park will then open to the general public beginning June 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the facility to be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays for deep cleaning. Discovery Center, the museum at Discovery Park, will remain closed at this time, as will the Children’s Discovery Garden Playground. The entrance to DPA will be through the outside North Ticket Gate.
