PLANS BEING MADE — It may only be June, but September is not too far away when planning for a county-wide festival. CornFest board members recently gathered at Leaders Credit Union in Union City to begin finalizing plans, which include a medallion hunt, a 5K, beauty pageants, a fashion show, a chalk art contest, a concert, the Pride of Obion County luncheon, an Idol competition and Family Day in the Park events.
