Glen Sawyer

Glen Sawyer, 87, of Kenton passed away from this life Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, at his home.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at New Concord Baptist Church, with Brother Rodney Gregg officiating. Interment will follow in New Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Karnes and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Nov. 29, 1931, in Mason Hall, the son of the late Perry and Ora (Thompson) Sawyer.
He was a maintenance worker at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., and a member of New Concord Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Sawyer; his children, Rebecca Oliver, Bobby G. Sawyer and Lori Sawyer; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
