Carolyn Mann

Carolyn Rudd Mann, 87, of Union City, formerly of Fulton, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, at The Waters of Union City.
Funeral services were to be 2:30 p.m. Nov. 17 at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Burial was to follow in Greenlea Cemetery.
The family requests memorials be made to The Waters of Union City (Activities Department), 1105 Sunswept Drive, Union City, TN 38261.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fulton. She was a telephone operator for Southern Bell for many years and also worked at the Fulton Sewing Center.
She and her husband Leon were owners of The Nearly Nu Shoppe for 13 years. She loved the art of decorating and was an avid seamstress.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Samuel Leon Mann; her son, Randy (Karen) Mann of Union City; her daughter, Connie (Brian) Ray of Franklin; and two grandchildren, Austin Heath Ray of Nashville, and Katie Frances Ray of Franklin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Russell Rudd and Frances Rice Rudd.
