Rose Williams
Mrs. Rosemary “Mrs. Rose” Williams, 78, a resident of Union City, died June 24, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. July 1, 2026, at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Karl Johnson will be officiating.
Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williams was born on Jan. 10, 1948, in Jackson, Mich., to the late Charles and Ethel (Arnett) Pugh. She was co-owner of Zoo-T’s Screenprinting along with her husband. On March 4, 1982, she married Dennis Williams. He survives.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
The family requests memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.
She is also survived by two sons, Daniel Thompson and Michael Thompson, both of Woodland Mills; grandson, Matthew Thompson of Union City; two granddaughters, Kelsey Johnson of South Fulton and Adele Tantalo of Berry, Ala.; two great-grandsons, Jase Evans and Maddox Thompson, both of Union City; sister, Viola Taylor of Viola, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sandy Johnson; four brothers; and two sisters.
