CLASSIC CAR

CLASSIC CAR — A shiny 1938 Ford captured the attention of (from left) Jesse Burrows, Karl Burrows and Deda Burrows, all of Hornbeak, during the inaugural Soarin’ Eagles Car Show held Saturday at Hornbeak City Park. The car is owned by Joe Morris of Troy, who won first place in the Classics (pre-2000) division. The event drew 33 vehicle participants, which included vintage vehicles, motorcycles and tractors, as well as food and beverage trucks and various vendors. Prizes were awarded in several divisions with the support of local business sponsors. The show was presented by the town and the Hornbeak Events Committee.
