Lyndell Killingsworth
Lyndell Sue Killingsworth, 90, of Troy passed away Saturday, May 23, 2026, at her home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 25, 2026, at White-Mahon Funeral Home, with Bro. Bob Champion officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and run until the time of service at the funeral home.
Sue was born in the Miston Community in Dyer County on March 9, 1936, to the late L.B. Baggett and the late Lodus Jewell Champion Baggett. She graduated from Troy High School in 1954 and then attended Memphis State and received her Education Degree. She went on to teach English in McNairy and Weakley County School Systems and then retired as the head librarian at the Weakley County Library.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Norma Jane and Bobby Dugger of Union City; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dwight and Buddy Baggett.
