Peggy Thomas
Mrs. Peggy Thomas, 84, a resident of Union City, died April 14, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
Services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 19, 2026, at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Rev. John Varden officiated. Burial followed in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Greg Wiley, Colin Wiley, Corey Wiley, Cameron Wiley, Austin Major and Davis Major.
The family received friends from nono-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thomas was born on Feb. 26, 1942, in Hickman, Ky., to the late Charlie and Mable (Blanton) Wiley. She worked as a Payroll Clerk for the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City. She married Gaylon Thomas. He preceded her on July 19, 2005. She was a member of Beech Grove Methodist Church in Hickman.
The family requests memorials be sent to Beech Grove Cemetery Fund.
She is survived by two nieces and their spouses, Laura Ann (Todd) Major and Thersa (Mike) VanHoucke; four nephews and their spouses, Mike (Lisa) Wiley, David (Colleen) Wiley, Greg (Teri) Wiley and Brad (Jennifer) Wiley; several great-nieces and great-nephews; two stepsons, Malcolm Thomas and David (Dorothy Lee) Thomas; granddaughter, Ariel (Joshua) Glissen; four great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Alison Ahrens.
She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Loyd Wiley and Charles Wiley.
