Dorothy Bingham
Dorothy “Sugar Babe” Sue Bingham, age 82, of Tiptonville passed away Monday, Feb. 16, 2026, at West Tennessee Health Care in Dyersburg.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at Tiptonville Pentacostal Church, with Bro. Jerry Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Graves Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 20, 2026, beginning at 6 p.m. at the church.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bingham was born in Halls on Feb. 28, 1943, to the late Jack Blakley and the late Lois Doss Blakley. She was married to Mr. James Paul Bingham. He survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Tiptonville Pentacostal Church.
In addition to her husband, James Bingham, she is survived by three daughters, Alisa Reed of Tiptonville, Angela Smith of Friendship and Darla Delavega of Tiptonville; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robin Ray of Tiptonville and Paul and Cammie Bingham of Union City; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Smith, Brandy Smith, Timothy Smith, Christopher Kelley, Jennifer Murphy, Justin Collins, Joseph Smith, Ashley Smith and Johnathan Ray; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Collins; one granddaughter, Tori Smith; three brothers, James, John and Harold Blakley; four sisters, Virgie O’Steen, Lilly Rainey, Ruby Clark and Peggy Spencer; and two great-grandsons, Chandler Smith and James Turner.
