EAGLE EYE — Reelfoot Lake State Park ranger Brandon Ransom (far right) stood back after setting up a telescope so Reelfoot Eagle Festival visitors, including Janey Wang of Nashville, could take turns viewing two eagles in a tree near the spillway on Highway 21 at the lake Saturday morning. Among the other visitors were Dana Nash of Memphis (center, left) and Brian Hall of Nashville (center, right). The group saw a total of 28 eagles on their two-hour van tour. The festival also included opportunities to shop with vendors, enter and vote in art and photography contests and see a program by Wings to Soar.
