LIFE & LEGACY
LIFE & LEGACY — The Discovery Park Community Choir sang during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration honoring the slain civil rights leader’s life and legacy through music, education and service Monday at Discovery Park of America in Union City. The free public program featured a keynote address by Dr. Mark McCloud, vice chancellor for access and engagement at the University of Tennessee at Martin, followed by hands-on activities for young learners based on Dr. King’s quotes and an educational session, “Contemporaries of King.”
