David Nielsen Sr.
David Lee Nielsen Sr., 66, a resident of Fulton, died Dec. 28, 2025, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, at East View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Shane Bruce, Justin Damons, Cullen Howard, Nick Turnbow, Chandler Turnbow, Cory Williams and Landon Turnbow.
The family will receive visitors from noon until 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Mr. Nielsen was born on Dec. 8, 1959, in Chicago, Ill., to the late Harry Kenneth and Marie Evelyn (Sanford) Nielsen.
Nielsen is also survived by two daughters, Joan Turnbow and Justin Damons of Dresden and Christine Bruce and husband, Shane, of Union City; three sons, David Lee Nielsen Jr. of Union City, Cullen Howard and wife, Monica, and Ian Howard, all of Fulton; his loving dog, Bishop; two granddaughters, Kaitlynn Webb and Mikaelee King; eight grandsons, Landon Turnbow, Chandler Turnbow, Nick Turnbow, Kaiden Damons, Michael Nielsen, James Nielsen, Braxton Bruce and Parker Howard; two great-granddaughters, Lyrical Webb and Jersei Webb; great-grandson, Elias Turnbow; sister, Catherine Diann Brewer; and brother, Matthew Nielsen and wife, Carla Nielsen.
He was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Terry Autry, Harry Kenneth Nielsen Jr. and William Roy Nielsen; sister, Roseanne Nielsen; and a granddaughter, Evalina Howard.
