Keta Stephen
Keta Jo Stephen, 49, born Aug. 24, 1976, in Union City, bravely won the battle against cancer on Nov. 23, 2025, in Spring Hill, Fla.
She is survived by her husband, Timmothy; her daughter, Ella; her mother Sherri (Jim) Seay; her sister, Jenny Guye (Victor) Ambrosio; her brother, Josh (Lauren); many nieces and nephews; and her sister-in-law, Suzanne (Al) Coe.
She was preceded by her daughter, Jolie; her father, Jerry “Mac”; her maternal grandparents, Guy and May Bond; fraternal grandparents, Billy Rodgers and Mabel Little; her father-in-law, J.D. and mother-in-law Debra Stephen; and her brother-in-law, Jerry “Jay” Stephen.
Keta graduated Obion County Central High School in 1995 and was a part of the colorguard team. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church during her years in Tennessee.
Keta worked at Wal-Mart for over 20 years, serving as a manager between the two states she called home. She and Tim were married on Feb. 17, 2001. They welcomed their first daughter, Ella, on June 30, 2009, and their second daughter, Jolie, was welcomed into heaven on her birthdate of Nov. 28, 2015.
She passed peacefully surrounded by her family. Her celebration of life will be held at her home church, Living Word Church in New Port Richey, Fla., on Dec. 13, 2025.
