IN THE BAG — Seth Walker, associate pastor of The Refuge Mission, counted bags of non-perishable groceries at midday Sunday in the women’s building at the Obion County Fairgrounds — where the annual Feeding of the 5,000 grocery giveaway will be held Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help people in need. Free winter coats will also be available. It will be followed by the Thanksgiving Soul Food Café from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the junior building at the fairgrounds, where the Refuge Mission meets. Everything is free and made possible by the generous giving of churches in the community and with the sponsorship of the Obion County Ministerial Association. Volunteers will also be welcomed.
