Bob Haskell

Mr. Robert Leon “Bob” Haskell, 69, of Troy passed away 7:22 a.m. Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, at his home.
Graveside services will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday at East View Cemetery. Jackson Doss will officiate.
There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at service time.
Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Bob was born Dec. 28, 1955, in St. Marys, Ohio, son of the late Robert Leon Haskell Sr. and Jewell Agnes (Horn) Haskell. He married Cheryl (Case) Haskell May 17, 1975. She survives. He worked for the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 36 years. After retirement, he taught auto mechanics at The Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Newbern.
He is also survived by two daughters, Wendy Rice (Brandon) of Union City and Julia Smith (Bruce) of Caruthersville, Mo.; one son, Chad Haskell (Jennifer) of Danville, Va.; five grandchildren, Justin Rice, Jeremy Rice, Seth Haskell, Cameron Thompson and Bentley Smith; one great-granddaughter, Maisie Rice; two sisters, Paula Wagner of Lima, Ohio, and Lisa Haskell of Rockford, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Dawn Michelle Thompson; and two sisters, Margie Zimmerman and Patsy Maher.
