Becky Hoffman

Mrs. Rebecca Faye “Becky” Hoffman, 78, of the Fremont community passed away 2 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted noon on Thursday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Darrel Hoffman and Ken Hogg will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery near Union City.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Alexander, Joe Kendall, Brendan Kendall, John Sawyer, Donald Collier and Bill Denman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rayford Callahan Sr., Robert Callahan, members of Fremont Church of Christ and members of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.
Becky was born Aug. 9, 1947, in Hamilton, Ala., daughter of the late Walter James and Icie Mae (Purser) Mays. She married Charles Wilford Hoffman Sept. 26, 1963. He passed away Dec. 23, 1992. She worked for Tyson Foods and was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ in the Shawtown community.
She is survived by three sons, Richard Hoffman and Shane Hoffman, both of Union City, and Chuck Hoffman of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Tim Tittle of Troy and Pearl Alexander of the Shawtown community; one granddaughter, Heather Hoffman (Wes Smith) of Martin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by one son, James C. Hoffman; one daughter-in-law, Susan Hoffman; two brothers, James Roy Mays and Orbie Mays; and one sister, Brenda Hargrove.
