Maxie Peal
Maxie Peal, 100, of Ash Flat, Ark., formerly of Union City died June 20, 2025.
She was born Sept. 26, 1924, to Charlie and Mai Ferrell of Hickman, Ky. She married J.S. Peal Oct. 4, 1942. He died in 2003.
She is survived by three children, Floyd Peal (Doris) of Obion, Wanda Maddox (Orbie) of McKinney, Texas, and Tom Peal of Melbourne, Ark.. Her grandchildren are Bob Peal (Jeanne) of Kingsport, Barry Peal of Tiptonville, Kevin Younger of Obion and Matthew Maddox (Jennifer) of McKinney, Texas, and the late LaShawnda Eckard of Melbourne, Ark. She has several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Peal will be Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Chapel Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at 2 p.m., with visitation from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
