BANANA BLAST — Rylee Simmons, 3-year-old daughter of Chloe and Joey Simmons of Fulton, sprayed a blast of water from a fire hose with the help of Triston Mannery, a member of the Fulton Fire Department’s Junior Firefighter Program, during the Banana Festival’s Touch-a-Truck and Kids Day activities last Saturday at Pontotoc Park in downtown Fulton. The festival runs daily through this Saturday in the Twin Cities of Fulton and South Fulton, ending with the grand parade, one-ton banana pudding and a concert by Rodney Atkins.
