Billy Lloyd Tatum
Mr. Billy Lloyd Tatum, 94, a resident of Martin, died Sept. 9, 2025, at his home.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at East Side Cemetery. Pastor Tony Keeton will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Carl Alan Gregory Jr., William Lloyd Tatum, Justin Mercer, Jonathan Cranford and William Lee Tatum.
White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tatum was born on April 18, 1931, in Kenton to the late Noble Dennis and Frances (Davison) Tatum. He worked as an Iron Worker for the Local #1 in Chicago for 50 years. He was a 33rd Degree Mason. He was Church of Christ by faith.
The family requests memorials be sent in lieu of flowers to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
He is survived by two sons, William Lee (Barbara) Tatum of Martin and Brian David (Heather) Tatum of Tullahoma; three daughters, Andrea Carroll Tatum and Audrey Lynn Tatum, both of Martin, and Mary Anne (Roman) Kunkel of Cookeville; nine grandchildren, Carl Alan (Angela) Gregory Jr., William Lloyd (Amanda) Tatum, Allie Tatum, Jake Tatum, Justin (Kristen) Mercer, Jason Mercer, Jeremy Roy Tatum, Jennifer Leann Cranford and Tiffany Lorraine Wagner; 11 great-grandchildren, Jonathan Van Cranford, Jefferson Drake Tatum, Joseph Gavin Tatum, Lily Gracie Tatum, Miles Anthony Gregory, Alannah Chynne McCarty, Ashanna Gregory, Hayden Apperson, Hadley Jewel Mercer, Noble Ryan Tatum and Alex Rainey Tatum; and a great-great-granddaughter, Keaton Jayce Mitchell.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Dennis Allen Tatum; and a grandson, Alec Tatum.
